Measurements
All custom garments are made to the measurements provided by the client during the video call. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure these measurements are accurate.
If you are unsure how to take your measurements, we strongly recommend scheduling a professional fitting in studio/by video (free) or visiting the How to Measure Yourself page.
Garments created with incorrect customer-provided measurements are not eligible for free remakes or refunds.
If a remake is required due to inaccurate measurements provided by the client, a remake fee will apply to cover materials and labor.
As a courtesy, we may offer a discounted remake rate depending on the circumstances.

Choose the type of piece (or pieces) you wish to purchase as a custom. The limit is only the amount of spaces that are available.
Ensure that thedarkmodiste@gmail.com is not blocked from your email. An invite for scheduling a video call will arrive within the next 48 business hours. This call will include measuring guide, discussing current fabrics available and answering any questions. Fabrics will be offered with what is currently available in-studio or what will need to be ordered.

What is the Creation Time and how will I be notified?
Currently, the turn around time for customs is 15 weeks.
You will receive a first email to schedule a video call for measurements, sizing, and fabrics.
A second email will be sent at or near completion to confirm how the piece is to be delivered (pickup or mailed).
A final email is sent upon pickup or when mailed.
