Huldra’s Blood Clothing is born of the darkness of the PNW winters and inspired by heritage craftsmanship and natural fabrics with a focus on size inclusivity. As well as offering a wide range of sizes all garments are designed to be adjustable so that each garment can respond to changes in seasons of life and can continue to be a beloved staple for years to come.

The shop is named for the Teutonic goddess Huldra, who is said to preside over birth and death. In one of her aspects she is also credited with bringing the gift of flax and the knowledge of its processing to humans. Flax is used to produce Linen, which is prized to this day for its beauty and durability. Huldra’s Blood Clothing sought to evoke the tradition of working with fibers and techniques that have carried on for thousands of years in the arts and generational knowledge of countless women.

All garments are designed and sewn by Huldra’s Blood Clothing in their home studio. They care passionately about the garments fitting and flattering a variety of body types.
